Applied Over Zinc-Primer |

One coat of zinc-based primer was applied at the recommended application rate of 500 ft²/gallon, and allowed to cure for 24 hours.
The first coat of Rustonic and Rustcoat applied over the zinc-based primer at an application rate of 2.5 gallons/100ft²., and allowed to cure for 24 hours.
The second and final coat of Rustonic was applied on a first coat of Rustonic and Rustcoat respectively, at an application rate of 2.5 gallons/100 ft².
A total of eight panels were prepared, four each of Rustonic and four each of Rustcoat. |
Both Rustonic and Rustcoat readily applied over a steel panel coated with a zinc-based primer. Initial and cured adhesions were assessed as excellent. |
