Applied Over Zinc-Primer |

One coat of zinc-based primer was applied at the recommended application rate of 500 ft²/gallon, and allowed to cure for 24 hours.
The first coat of Rustonic™ and Rustcoat™ applied over the zinc-based primer at an application rate of 2.5 gallons/100ft²., and allowed to cure for 24 hours.
The second and final coat of Rustonic™ was applied on a first coat of Rustonic™ and Rustcoat™ respectively, at an application rate of 2.5 gallons/100 ft².
A total of eight panels were prepared, four each of Rustonic™ and four each of Rustcoat™. |
Both Rustonic™ and Rustcoat™ readily applied over a steel panel coated with a zinc-based primer. Initial and cured adhesions were assessed as excellent. |
